Published on: March 1, 2026 by Room Radiance Team

Updated on: March 1, 2026

This case study shows how we improved a compact bedroom where floor clutter and weak zoning made daily routines slower.

Initial Situation

  • Room size: 11 m²
  • Main pain point: no clear storage system
  • User goal: keep a calm Scandinavian look without adding visual weight

Redesign Approach

  1. Remove one oversized nightstand and switch to wall-mounted storage.
  2. Add vertical shelving near the desk corner.
  3. Move wardrobe modules to open a direct path from door to bed.

Output and Result

  • 2 design iterations were enough for final approval.
  • Daily-use items moved from visible surfaces into closed storage.
  • Walk path became fully unobstructed.

Key Learnings

  • In small bedrooms, layout flow matters more than decoration density.
  • One high-impact storage move can unlock multiple secondary improvements.
